Furthermore, having robotic assistants in the operating room can help to reduce the fatigue experienced by doctors during procedures which normally last several hours. In addition, when a robot is used to perform a surgery, there is a greater accuracy in the cuts that it makes, which can help to decrease the recovery time of patients since they do not suffer from the bigger wounds that a human surgeon may be required to make.
